Based on history under colonial America, separation based upon more decision making given to states. Questions regarding the payment of the wars per state. The creation of the Constitution helped to bring unity, more weight given towards federal government control and decision making. Constitution created the 3 branches of government, with clearly defined roles.

Judeo-Christian values and beliefs Attended Wesley Theological Seminary, Bible College and Seminary, and Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies. Have a Masters in Divinity and a Ph.D. in Theology. Wrote a book on the Prophesies of Micah and the Jewish leaders during the 1st Century in Judea.

I am conservative as in agreement with Trump's platform but there are some areas he is ignoring, not considered conservative, note the following: In 2008 when I ran for U. S. Congress (District 6), I said no to entering Iraq and Afghanistan, fearing long term wars (incumbent said yes); No to the bail out of Wall Street, Big Business and Mortgage Companies. My 2016 platform when I ran for U. S. Congress (District 9), I said yes to a strong military, securing our borders, drastic changes in our immigration system, and to coal research. I said no to home foreclosures due to the corruption and deceit I was seeing in the mortgage industry. However, I am on the other side of conservatism when it comes to College education pay-off, and finding the financial means for those burden with college student loans to acquire housing. Also today our farming industry is hurting nationwide and we must do something now to save our farms. I have "liberal" proposals for these concerns
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Born and raised in the District - 8-9 generations. Graduate of Turner Ashby High School and attended Bridgewater College, both in the district. I have a Masters in Urban Planning from Va. Tech and was once a Comprehensive Urban Planner with Rockingham County and Fairfax County. I wrote the first Comprehensive Plan and Capital Improvements Program for the town of Bridgewater and assisted in the planning of Grottoes and Mt. Crawford, all in the district. I ran for U.S. Congress twice and have experience in the political world. There is much more... I know the area well because I lived it. I am also finalizing the writing of a historical novel on immigrants who settled in the district during the 1700's, which includes the Hessian soldiers who were housed at the Barracks near Charlottesville, Va. I thoroughly enjoy meeting people one on one. Educated in cost/benefit analysis, etc., analytical ability, Va. Tech. Fairfax County government as a Transportation Planner and Systems Analyst.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am very concerned about the welfare of our farming community nation-wide. My ancestors were farmers. I have a plan that will help to bring them financial relief. I am also concerned for the grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. In addition, I am very concerned about the overall college student loan indebtedness. We must work together to help alleviate this life long burden. Providing affordable housing is a must. I was raised in real estate and I have worked in real estate most of my life. We must eliminate a lot of the paperwork that restricts builders and homeowners. We must keep our children and young people alive! Let us fight against these high suicide rates! Finally and not the least, let us bring back to this country the manufacturing of medications, that are affordable! Our antibiotics are made in China. That is a no.
