I voted in these primaries and general elections:

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

This is very rare, but when it is confirmed that the life of the mother will be lost if she carries the child the child may be delivered in the most humane way possible. Because many children are viable outside the womb at younger and younger pre-natal ages, every effort should be made to save the child as well as the mother. These decisions should be made only between the mother and the physician with a second physician's opinion. No government, government agency or government representative should be involved in this decision. No tax dollars should be given to any organization that promotes or encourages abortions allowing the right of conscience for all taxpayers. I have written a book "Defying Diagnosis:Choosing faith over facts" that tells the true story of the value of life in my own family from my families care for my elderly father with Parkinson's Disease to my youngest grandson with Trisomy 18. We were told both were better off dead. Their quality of life defied the diagnosis

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We should secure the United States borders, enforce existing laws regarding immigration, maintain a strong military, use economic and trade sanctions against nations harboring or aiding terrorists, use military tribunals not the US court system to try un-uniformed combatants, enforce the sovereignty of the United States and it's laws at all levels of American society and government. The US Constitution and the rule of law should be the governing guidelines for all decisions made concerning the use of military force on foreign soil. Public school courses in world history, US history and the Constitution should be required so that future generations understand the threat and the measures that have been taken in the past. We should consult and cooperate with other nations like Israel who have been successful in securing their country's borders, lessening the impacts of terrorist threat, and will combine with us by imposing sanctions and interventions.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man has a sinful nature and is naturally inclined toward selfishness and corruption. The checks and balances of the Constitutional system are designed to restrain sinful man's inclination toward abuse of power (position), avarice (love of money and greed), love of celebrity, plus preferential, deferential and favor trading toward those who are able to bestow benefits.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born-again believer in Jesus' death on the cross for my sin, His burial, and resurrection from the dead securing my home in heaven. I believe this is a free gift from God. I believe that God is the creator of the Universe. Biblical truth is the basis for the Constitution and my values. His Word is inspired, and the Holy Spirit guides and directs my life when I am obedient to Him, humble, and seek His face in prayer. God is able to answer prayer abundantly, perform miracles, and heal our land. I believe that the Constitution guarantees my inalienable (God given) rights. The first amendment secures my right to hold these beliefs and practice them without interference. It also allows me to talk about these values and their basis openly in public forums and public buildings, like schools and libraries but not limited to them, unrestrained by government. The second amendment insures that I am able to defend this right, my family, and my country against enemies foreign and domestic

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

"Sharron Angle, one of the Nevada Legislature's most conservative voices..." Nevada Appeal "She has been staunchly anti-tax...has been a consistent "no" vote on spending increases in the Legislature." Las Vegas Sun "Always content to thwart the establishment, Angle said she's ready..." Reno Gazette Journal "Sharron, Sharron, she's great!" President Donald Trump

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Healthcare should be between a patient and their physician without government mandates on coverage or insurance company interference. This goal requires the repeal of the ACA "Obamacare" and passage of laws to allow choices for purchase of coverage across state lines, removing all state and federal mandated coverage, keeping a safety net in place for those who have pre-existing conditions that disqualify them from insurance coverage, allow Health savings accounts for those who want to self-insure, and continue to allow healthcare sharing options.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The US Government should continue the tax reform law that reduced the corporate tax rate. It should continue to renegotiate trade agreements with foreign nations that benefit United States industries and encourage them to bring their investments and industry back to United States soil. The government should not be involved in minimum wage negotiations but leave labor negotiations and wages to companies and workers. The government should reduce regulation on businesses and create a fairer, flatter, simplified tax structure for individuals and industry. Elimination of unconstitutional agencies and systems, would create a reduction in spending and debt that would stimulate economic growth in the individual states as well as the private sector.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

A repeal of the Sixteenth amendment would be the ultimate beneficial change for citizens and business eliminating tax advantages that create winners and losers as well as reducing the number of lobbying entities that seek those advantages for their clients. Without that repeal, the tax code should be simplified with a reduction of requirements and deductions. Those personal income tax deductions that should be allowed would be charitable contributions, expenses, single income households, and dependents such as children, disabled and seniors. Business should be taxed on their net income not their gross. The fairest tax is a consumption tax that would replace the income tax not be charged in addition to the income tax because it is voluntary relying on the choices of the consumer to buy and pay the tax. Under this system essentials (such as food and medicines) would not be taxed or in the alternative, a threshold for spending must be reached each year before the individual is taxed.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Stimulating the economy through encouraging business growth by reducing regulation and taxation creates jobs. A reform of the welfare, medicaid and other entitlement systems to encourage able-bodied recipients to seek and maintain employment in order to receive benefits. These programs should be shifted to the states by returning the income tax percentage for these programs paid by each state's population.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The federal government should not be allowed to borrow from the Social Security Trust fund by law. The funds that have been borrowed must be paid back into the Trust fund by a date certain. Each worker below the age of fifty should be given the option of staying within the Social Security system or investing the salary portion that would have gone into the Social Security system in a low-risk unlimited Individual Retirement Account that doesn't mature until they reach age sixty-five.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have been a legislator and School Board Trustee so I understand the internal workings of government at the local and state level. I also understand the requirements of the Constitution and the oath of office that dictates the principle to uphold and defend the Constitution. I have raised two children to law abiding and productive adulthood so I understand the importance of family in maintaining good citizenship for the future. I own a small business so I understand the stifling or stimulating impacts of government regulation and taxation upon growth and job creation. I have volunteered in the non-profit sector of ministry in many different capacities from prisons to education to charitable work with the poor, the addicted, homeless, and displaced. I understand the needs and challenges of American culture and that the government closest to the people is the most responsive to them. I am not part of an established, career political class. I'm an ordinary person desiring to serve people

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I want to replace the incumbent Republican Congressman who has a conservative rating of 43% with Conservative Review, 50% with Heritage, 58% with Club for Growth and a "C" rating with Gun Owners of America. He has voted pro-life then voted to fund Planned Parenthood. He has voted for amnesty, to fund Obamacare, and to increase the debt several times. Marjorie Danenfelter of National Right to life endorsed my book "Defying Diagnosis" and Mark Levin wrote the forward for my book "Right Angle." For defending my state Constitution and winning, I was awarded the Reagan Freedom Medallion. In 2010 against Harry Reid, I was endorsed by Club for Growth, Gun Owners of America, Susan B. Anthony List, Phyllis Schlafly, Tea Party Express, Citizens United and Mark Levin among others. I am the co-host on Conservative Commandos Radio show that airs nationally featuring interviews with reliable conservative sources. As a legislator, I have an "A" rating from the NRA and the GOA. I want your vote.
