QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only in cases of endangerment to the life of the mother. I have expressed endless support for the Pain Capable Act, which is what I believe to be the best good-faith start to protecting innocent life while also protecting the rights of the mother.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government needs to let the free market work. Subsidies, tariffs, and the like impede the free market and overall hurt the economy.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
I would love nothing more than to abolish the income tax and let you keep all that money you're earning. It's your money, after all. Not the government's. Until that day comes, I want to see a flat tax. An easy 18 percent for individuals making more than $40,000, whether you're an individual, married, or a corporation. No more brackets, deductions, or loopholes for wealthy executives. Just 18 percent of whatever you earn. If you make less than $40,000, you don't pay an income tax at all. No more "doing taxes" or hiring someone to do them. Simplify the tax code and the IRS - and let you get on with your life. Let's also eliminate the self-employment tax. We shouldn't be penalizing anyone for creating jobs.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Abolish the minimum wage. Let the market work. Encourage people into the plethora of skilled labor jobs available.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Privatize it.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Republicans won a trifecta in 2016 - yet they still seem unable to pass a full repeal of Obamacare. Healthcare for many Americans is more expensive than ever. Healthcare should be affordable. It becomes affordable through more competition - allowing insurers to sell across state lines and removing unnecessary barriers to entry that force monopolies to exist. It's imperative for taxpayer funds to stop being given to wealthy insurance companies.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Disagree
The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies.
Agree
Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.
Strongly Disagree
I support sanctuary cities.
Disagree
The United States should protect its sovereignty from the United Nations.
Strongly Agree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
While I disagree with the notion that the United States should serve as the policeman of the world, it's incredibly important for us as a nation to have a strong military with the ability to be proactive against threats. Whatever happens, Congress and Congress alone has the express Constitutional authority regarding acts of war and any action(provided the threat isn't an immediate one) needs to be carefully deliberated by Congress.
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Disagree
People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."
Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The Founders, besides being absolute geniuses, did all of this after living under King George III's oppressive rule. You can still see that oppressive rule in most of the world. We live in the greatest country because of the Constitution and its limitation of powers. Unfortunately, a lot of today's politicians willfully ignore the Constitution. I am committed to adhering to that document with every vote.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
While I personally identify as agnostic, I can assure you you won't find a greater defender of religious liberty than myself.
ABOUT YOU
I voted in these primaries and general elections:
2016 General Election
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
No Answer
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am committed to the Constitution, the free market, and individual freedoms.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am an individualist, a constitutionalist, and a firm believer in American exceptionalism. I've worked in logistics and trucking my entire adult life, and during my time in the workforce I have seen the destructive effect of heavy-handed government intervention. I've seen corporations and interest groups use big money to influence elections to make life more restrictive for the average citizen. I've seen our freedoms, our hard-earned tax dollars, and our quality of life erode away. Our current representative doesn't hold town halls, meaning we the people are not currently being represented. I'm running because I want to change that and give TX-12 a voice.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
If you're looking for a candidate committed to defending liberty and the Constitution, I'm your guy. If you're looking for a candidate who will regularly hold town halls and consistently explain the reasoning behind his votes, I'm your guy. And if you're looking for someone to stand up to big donor money and corruption in Washington, I'm your guy.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support the death penalty.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Additional regulations are needed to prevent climate change.
Agree
It is OK for Congress to exempt itself from compliance with laws applicable to all citizens.
Strongly Disagree
