Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am unapologetically pro-life because all human life has dignity and should be protected, especially the lives of the defenseless unborn. As a long-time defender of life with a 100% pro-life voting record, I have worked tirelessly to protect the unborn and ensure none of your tax dollars are ever used to carry out abortions.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
We must call our enemy by its name, and make sure our military has the resources it needs to defeat radical Islamic terrorism and keep Americans safe.

Our family's motto is "Family first. Country always. Faith forever." We are active members of the Presbyterian Church and my wife Jennifer and I both teach Sunday school.

I am a conservative champion on pro-life and 2nd Amendment issues. I've led efforts to repeal Obamacare, restore veterans' benefits, and eliminate tax credits for illegal immigrants, and I'm a strong supporter of President Trump's effort to secure our southern border and build a wall. My strong conservative record is why I've received the following ratings: 100% from Heritage Action, 97% from Americans for Prosperity, 92% from the American Conservative Union, "A" from the National Rifle Association, and 100% from the National Right to Life Organization.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Obamacare has been disastrous for working Hoosiers. Repealing and replacing Obamacare must remain priority one. We need a healthcare system that's personalized, patient-centered, and puts Hoosiers back in charge of their own care.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
We should create a climate that encourages entrepreneurship, helps small businesses grow and attracts good paying jobs. I'm excited about President Trump's leadership to cut taxes, eliminate unnecessary regulations, and promote common-sense policies that help Main Street.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
We should make the new individual tax rates under the Trump Tax Cuts permanent, expand the Child Tax Credit to expecting mothers, and further stop illegal immigrants from being able to claim tax credits.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Indiana's best asset is our people. Ensuring Hoosier workers have opportunities to succeed must be a top priority. We can build on the early success of President Trump by addressing challenges in our healthcare system, investing in our nation's infrastructure and encouraging job training for in-demand fields here in Indiana.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Social Security is one of America's most successful anti-poverty programs. We must keep our promise to the millions of Americans who have worked for decades and have earned their Social Security benefits. In order to preserve this program for future generations, we can look at meaningful reforms for younger generations who are working longer, saving more for retirement, and looking for more flexibility in how they want to save for their futures.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I was raised by a single mother in Greensburg, Indiana who taught me one of the most important lessons in life is to never quit. Right now, the U.S. Senate is quitting on Hoosiers. President Trump is working to pass the agenda the American people voted for, but the Senate is standing in the way almost every time. As your Senator, I will be an ally for the President and make sure the Senate doesn't quit on all of us.

Jennifer and I met 17 years ago on a blind date. We're the proud parents of two daughters, one son, and two dogs. I'm a youth sports coach for my kids and was recently named the "4th Grade Coach of the Year" in my son's basketball league. As an avid Indiana sports fan, my favorite teams are my kid's teams, the Indianapolis Colts and whoever is playing against the New England Patriots.
