Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

This is a personal decision between a woman and her doctor...

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The inherent nature of previous governments the colonists lived under in England and other parts of the world.. They wanted the people here to live under a society where all men and women (later when they got the vote) would enjoy life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and all men were created equal.. The very struggles the U.S. endured in its history, demonstrated that, the Civil War, the drive for civil rights, women's right's.The Constitution has shown that it is enduring and flexible.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that all men and women are created equal and should have the same rights under God and under the system of law that we in the U.S. live under..Regardless of one's political and religious beliefs if all men and women lived by the Ten Commandments we would have a perfect union. Unfortunately many in the U.S. do not follow those values in their daily lives.. I also believe that one's spiritual beliefs are between himself/herself and God in whatever shape or manner they practice following the guidelines of the Ten Commandments.. What I mean by that is that the practice of one's beliefs do not violate anyone else's beliefs... (Ten Commandments) This country was founded in principle on religious freedom, with a separation of church and state.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Moderate

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I have not held public office but in raising two children I have demonstrated my beliefs. I have consistently supported giving back to my fellow man, by remaining a teacher/counselor for more than 40 years and now my children have chosen to give back as well with public service..

Additional comment from candidate:

I strongly feel that being in elective office should be a privilege not a job for life. I feel strongly that lobbying money has corrupted the elective process, and decisions made by legislators are often influenced by contributions from lobbying groups.Certainly our environment, our national security should be at the forefront of a U.S. Representative in Congress and I see that that has not been the cas e in this district.. The nuclear deal with Iran was a huge mistake. Iran has not stopped its support of terrorist groups, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Arab Brotherhood and its affiliates around the world. It has directly threatened the U.S. since the agreement was signed and is named as the greatest terrorist threat in the Middle East.. The U.S. policy in recent years has not been very supportive of Israel the only democratic state in the Middle East and by signing the Iran deal we have freed up tremendous amounts of money which have been utilized by terrorists groups.
