What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The human nature of mankind is sometimes in conflict with men and/or with the natural laws of nature/God. Our government system addresses these conflicts among men so that fairness and freedom from man to man will prevail within the confines of the constitution. Thus, the constitution would be the authority, and the government ran by men held in check by defining and separating the governing bodies, so one branch of government does not govern alone.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

Individual choice

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God. I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe the New Testament is the word of Christ, John the Baptist, and Christ's disciples. I read the bible, and I am of Methodist faith.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Moderate

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

You may check my record, as a City Councilwoman, I work to build unity and consensus within our governance of the City of Marion. I work At-Large for all of the Citizens of Marion, Indiana. I am well aware of both sides of an issue, I am well informed, I research, and I keep the highest good for all in mind, and I communicate the community collective good al all times. I am a stabling force, I work to understand and listen to both sides of the aisle, with equal parts of prudence and fairness always in mind. I vote with a common sense approach to City Governance. I will continue, for this is my strength, my passion, my contribution and shows how much I respect the citizens and how important their lives are to me. As a district state representative, I will continue to communicate the will of the citizens in House District 31, because I listen, learn and care.

Additional comment from candidate:

I believe our democracy works best when people have a choice of who will represent them in local, state, and national issues. I 've heard time and again how disappointed citizens feel in the way our district has been represented at the Indiana Statehouse. I support Hoosier values and our communities to put an end to divisive politics that put Indiana behind in business, education and quality of life for it's citizens. Only when all are working forward with conscious effort to work together will the State of Indiana attain a prosperous future for all.
