QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I do not believe in abortion!! However, I also do not believe that I have a right to tell someone else how to handle their own personal situations. I am a PRO-LIFE advocate and will continue to work to educate the public on the available options and offer real leadership in this area. The government should have no role in covering any cost associated with any abortion measures. Because the taxpayer base of revenue is comprised of funds received from people who do not support this course of action and have varying levels of morality. It is difficult to regulate morality. That is why it is important to elect real leaders, who will direct and LEAD our people to a higher since of moral standing, rather that force it upon them with mandates and laws.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Have more people contributing than receiving is the only solution to this dilemma. I plan to accomplish this great feat through Job Creation: I understand that the government does not create Jobs, businesses do It is the Government’s responsibility to help foster the growth of AMERICAN businesses through "business-friendly" legislation We must create an environment suitable for business success We must fight to revitalize the Oil & Gas industry until we can transition to alternative fuel resources We must work to bring America to the forefront of "Clean Energy" research and development to offset the loss of Oil & Gas revenues "I will work vigorously to bring business and jobs to American communities, but we must first ensure an educated workforce, and reduce crime. We must build a smaller, more efficient government that encourages business growth, but holds business accountable to their commitments."
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
1. Welfare - The government is not a charity 2. Medicaid - I would reduce the number of people on the system and persecute fraud and abuse 3. Foreign support - Reduce payments to nations that use our own money against us 4. Eliminate redundancy within governmental offices - increase efficiency of government agencies
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
My initial response is NONE. A student loan is like any other loan, it is the individual's responsibility to repay any monies borrowed. It is not the taxpayer's responsibility to assume any debt incurred by individuals who fail to honor their obligation. However, in cases of extreme hardship caused by government action (Such as this COVID reaction,) special arrangements should be made to make it possible for the borrower to fulfill the obligation.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
To me it means that the government should not be influenced by the beliefs of one specific religion, that it should maintain an attitude of neutrality toward religion - within the confines of the law. And that the government can not require churches to accept / adopt any morally questionable practices simply because it is socially accepted.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
1. We should encourage diversity in coverage partners to help lower premiums and make coverage affordable 2. We must hold individuals and professionals accountable for fraud and abuse 3. The single payer system is not the answer 4. Insurance companies must be removed from treatment process, let the doctors treat the patients 5. Emergency rooms should be for emergencies, not runny noses or after hour care
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
We have to take a stand and set an example that any type of radical terrorism will not be tolerated.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
PERSONS WHO DEMONSTRATE A DESIRE TO BE PART OF THE AMERICAN SYSTEM, AND WHO VALUE THE PRINCIPLES OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, AND VOW TO WORK AND PARTICIPATE IN THE ECONOMIC SUCCESS OF OUR NATION - NOT BECOME A BURDEN ON OUR SOCIETY.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I AM A CHRISTIAN - and my life is directed by the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible is my authority on morality, and the guideline on which I try to model my behavior. We are all born into sin, but through the grace and love of God, we can find our way to everlasting peace!
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
www.berylbilliot.com
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
ABSOLUTELY NOT
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
We are currently floating down the river with a hole in our boat, and some people insist on debating the color of the paint! We need to "Prioritize Our Future" It is time to concentrate on what really matters!!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
WE NEED TO PUNISH THE CRIMINALS - NOT THE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS!! I do not believe that restrictions on gun ownership will protect public safety; because the people who will abide by these restrictions are not the ones committing the gun crimes. Laws and restrictions only affect those who are willing to abide by them. In order to protect public safety, we need to implement strict punishment for those who violate the already existing laws.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Neutral
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
National Security: Without a strong military and secure borders, our current standard of living will be forever changed. Our country is being flooded by individuals that do not share of love of freedom, nor our Christian beliefs, and they wish to destroy our way of life. Education: Education is the foundation of all civilized nations. We must educate our children if we desire to strengthen our nation to its former glory. All citizens should have access to adequate educational tools to allow them to rise up from their current positions and truly experience the American Dream Judicial Reform: I will implement "Tiered Prison System" legislation to reduce costs and deter crime. The government’s answer to our high crime rate and especially gun crime, is to create more laws – this is counterproductive. Laws only affect those who follow them. We must implement aggressive enforcement policies We must hold individuals accountable for their actions
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes - racism is a threat to domestic security. Government policy is currently keeping America divided. Because we are so distracted by fighting among ourselves, our domestic enemies are implementing policy that is destroying the fundamental principles our country was founded upon.
