QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

IRC needs to be simplified with a flat tax rate for all. Too many loopholes and partiality in the tax code today.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Socialiistic educational programs, get rid of the NEA and many other unnecessary national agencies. The best way to cut spending is to assess a 5-10% cut across the board for several years until it hurts and you have to stop. Then everyone has to look very hard at what is being spent and be more accountable and making priorities with respect to spending.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

USA must have a tougher vetting/screening process with respect who we let into our country. Known terrorist should not be allowed and suspected terrorists should also not be allowed, but I am open to suspicions being validated. If the evidence is not clear, probably should not allow.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Must be legal immigration only. No known or suspected terrorists.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Believe that Jesus is the son of God, died and rose again to save sinners from their sins. Elected officials need to stand up for the Christian values they profess. No more "big talk baby walk!" Preachers need to be more bold

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Voter ID and citizenship is mandatory, cannot be a felon.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Certain folks are trying to destroy Amerca from within. All are created equal and all know this; even though many act as though they are victims.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Provide for the common defense, promote general welfare, establish justice, insure domestic peace, secure the blessings of liberty and freedom.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Probably not a whole lot of publicly available information. You could look at newspaper articles from the 1990's when I was on the RISD school board (I have copies of some of these). Such information would prove my conservative voting record such as voting the budget down every year I was on the school board, votes against sex education, votes against goals 2000, votes against federal free lunch program, etc. Most of these votes were 6 to 1. I am currently in the process of being vetted by many and would be happy to produce such documents should you request. I will attach a push card for your reference.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My legislative priorities are as follows: abolish abortion, support Second Amendment, support term limits, defend our Texas border, election integrity, oppose critical race theory, stop government overreach, oppose taxpayer funded lobbying, oppose gender modification of children, support monument protection. Things must change in Austin. More than 95% of our elected Republican representatives do not attempt to promote Republican priorities that are set before them. These folks are more interested in going along to get along and maintaining longevity in their political careers. Texas Republicans have controlled both the state House and Senate for the last 20 years running and Texas has slipped more to the left and the last 20 years than in its entire existence. Allowing Democrats to be committee chairs, in my opinion, is unconscionable. Of the 8 legislative priorities put forth by the SREC for the 87th session, only one was truly dealt with. The rest get "lipservice" but no real attention. Elected officials consistently tell constituents that constituents just don't understand the dynamics of Austin. I am of the opinion that enough is enough and it is time for courageous, unapologetic leadership in Austin. Voters do not have to "roll the dice" and wonder whether or not I am a standup Republican. As mentioned above I was on the opposite end of many 6 to 1 votes while serving on the Richardson, Texas school board in the 1990's. The Lord wires each of us differently; He has wired me to stand. I am the only "proven" standup Republican in this race.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Criminals and mentally ill should not be able to own a gun.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
