I strongly believe in the sacredness of human life from the point of conception to natural death. I believe that "We the People" should always choose the life of both mother and child. I reject the idea that it should be permissible to end a pre-born child’s life for reasons of “inconvenience” to adult humans.

Social Security benefits must be locked from use for anything other that social security pay outs. We as a Nation must honor the Social Security payments that are due to every American who has paid into this system. "We the People" should consider alternative means for future generations securing their financial security without being required to pay into a federal system.

A balanced budget requires the United States Congress to prioritize programs in accordance with federal responsibilities as prescribed in the Constitution and available funding based on predictable tax revenues.

None. Student loans is not a federal level issue.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The idea of separation of church and state is to prevent any particular religion from running the United States. To be clear "We the People" run this country through our elected representatives not any particular group. Separation of Church and State does not mean remove religious symbols/references from public property and it does not mean elected persons are not to be guided by their faith.

Health care is not a federal level responsibility. I will promote pushing private health care back to our states, protections for pre-existing conditions, eliminate interstate insurance issues and requiring transparent billing for all medical expenses.

The Federal Government should be able to forecast our legal immigration requirements based on predictive analysis for skills, education level and labor requirements for the country. Friends, I am a Constitutional Conservative seeking the Republican Nomination for U.S. Congress in Iowa District 3. My purpose for running is to take action rather than continue to complain at the coffee table about the political direction of our country. In execution, I will deliver constitutional problem solving with emphasis on States rights, individual responsibility, and respect to the design of our Federal Republic. I am a veteran of 32 years; retired Colonel of Infantry from the United States Army. I am an Army Ranger, Master Parachutist, decorated combat infantrymen and hold 2 Masters Degrees. Robin (my wife) and I have been married for 36 years and have three grown self sufficient children. I do not believe in career politics and will see it an honor to continue to serve the Nation as the representative to the U.S. Congress for Iowa District 3.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No; I do not believe racism is an immediate threat to domestic security. The United States has made great progress in reducing racism. Clearly as a people we do not accept racism and must reject racism regardless of its source. However, we do have an issue that threatens our continued growth as Americans. That threat comes from those who continue to group people into blocks that can be placed against each other for political or financial gain.
