Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only under the very strictest, literal "life of the mother" medical emergency.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Expose it wherever it is, educate the public about the true nature of the threat, and defeat it.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The tendency to usurp power, steal from Peter to pay Paul, and become corrupt are among the reasons why the Founders designed our government the way they did.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I've been a lifelong Follower of Jesus Christ since age six. We are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus. The greatest commandments and the meaning of life is to know and love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love my neighbor as myself.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would push to remove the federal government from the center of the Health Care and Health Insurance universe. I would implement the sensible free market ideas folks have been writing about for decades: - Full tax deductibility for individuals - Portability - National Marketplace - all insurance companies can sell policies in every state - Tort Reform

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

I oppose the kind of activism and market distortion our federal government engaged in during the Obama years, as well as that of FDR and every administration between. The proper constitutional role of our federal government with regard to boosting the economy is to reduce overspending, lower taxes, and eliminate burdensome overregulation. Get out of the way and allow the engine of prosperity to run!

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Abolish the Personal and Corporate Federal Income Tax, as well as the Payroll Tax, and replace with a national sales tax. Abolish the Estate Tax, and taxes on Social Security income as well.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

1. Incentivize work by reforming our federal, state, and local social welfare programs so it pays more to go get that low-paying entry-level job than it does to stay home on welfare. Do this by NOT immediately taking away benefits dollar-for-dollar. Instead, slowly wean the recipient of aid so he/she benefits more by working than not working. 2. Make the US Economy much more globally competitive by lowering federal spending, shrinking the size and scope of the federal government, reducing taxes, and repealing job-killing overregulation. 3. Abolish the Minimum Wage. 4. Repeal the Davis-Bacon Act, and all other similar statutes.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

To the extent our federal government should remain engaged in such social welfare benefit programs in the long run, we should phase in, over several decades, a privatized program that would: 1. Leave current Social Security recipient's benefits untouched. 2. Transition folks over age 50, but not yet eligible for SS, to some sort of hybrid benefit as we move over time to the privatized system. 3. For people younger than 50 establish private individual accounts.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

21+ years on Active Duty in the US Air Force as a commissioned officer, pilot, and Iraq War veteran have given me the experience, perspective, and sense of duty to serve all the people of western Minnesota, and the nation at large, with integrity, purpose, and focus. 25+ years of studying our nation's founding and her founding documents have informed me we have strayed very far for decades from the enduring principles of our founding - that of Free Enterprise, Limited Government, and Individual Liberty, among others. The root of our problems at the federal level stem from not abiding our wonderful US Constitution. I want to do my part to lead us toward Liberty and Prosperity.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I'm running for Congress to save our Republic from decades of bad policy and bad leadership, be a Conservative Reinforcement for the Republican Majority in the US House of Representatives, and partner with President Trump to accomplish his America First agenda as quickly as possible. Please support my campaign financially and prayerfully!
