Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Strongly Disagree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, incest or the mother's life is at risk.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The accumulation of power by an individual or governing body is the greatest threat to liberty. America's Founders purposefully created a constitution which separated and limited clearly defined powers in order to prevent tyranny.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

The only way to our heavenly Father is through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through Christ all things are possible if we glorify God in all things.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I've written extensively as a St Cloud Times group writer on topics ranging from public education, HUD, H1-B visas and refugee resettlement. My position always supports a constitutional free-market system founded on Judeo-Christian values. I support policies that protect America's interests and borders, restores the constitution, and rejects secular global governance. America's next generation will be handed an unprecedented debt of over $20 trillion. Our elected leadership must address the federal governments unconstitutional spending addiction and cut regulations created by unelected bureaucrats.

Additional comment from candidate:

I'm a Christian constitutional conservative, a veteran, served as a Benton County Planning Commissioner and former conservative writer for the St Cloud Times. Our current congressman campaigned as a conservative but, has a voting record supporting President Obama's agenda on key bills, such as, the unconstitutional federal education bill ESSA and the Maloney amendment supporting Obama's transgender agenda. Conservative Review has given congressman Emmer an 'F' (46%) on his liberty score. He has clearly aligned himself with the establishment, seeking a long term career in Washington, rather than restoring the constitution and supporting the interests of his constituents. Without regard to the costs and national security risks accompanying the increasing influx of refugees resettling in Minnesota's 6th Congressional District, Congressman Emmer joined with Democrat Keith Ellion, creating the Somalia Caucus. Congressman Emmer should be challenged. I made the decision to do so'
