I served four years on a county board overseeing $2.8 billion in publicly funded projects where I fought to control spending and hold project managers accountable. I have led a job platform focused on industry growth and job creation for the past two years. And my wife and I owned a successful small business where we battled with the local government over unfair permits and regulations.
