Wyss, an 11 year resident of Brewster, married his wife Melanie in 2003. He has two daughters and one son. He attended Texas Tech University and Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. Prior to joining his wife’s century old family company, as an Analyst and Government Affairs Director Wyss served as the Chief Deputy Assessor for Spokane County, and worked for 11 years within various US Trustee Offices. Wyss currently serves as Vice President of USA Farmers Association, serves on the US Apple Board of Directors, American Farm Bureau Labor Committee, advisor to the Brewster Boys and Girls Club, and is the current Chairman of the Carlton Complex and Okanogan Complex Long Term Recovery Groups. Jon Wyss is respected at the federal, state and local level for his ability to build consensus while encouraging common sense solutions to complex problems. He has proven he can work across the aisle without compromising his principles.
