What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
I believe that our Founders were inspired to create a limited government with Separation of Powers because they came from England primarily and had experienced political persecution by a tyrannical oligarch in King George III. They did not want any one branch of government: Executive, Legislative or Judiciary, to gain too much power over the lives of their citizens in the new nation. The nature of power is that it is corruptible and desire for control and money over the citizenry is inevitable.
Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In my belief, when the mother's life is imminently threatened by the continuation of the pregnancy, an abortion should be permitted. However, if the fetus is viable, I believe that all measures should be performed to save both the mother and the baby whenever possible. All life is worthy of respect and protection.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God and the Bible is the holy text I subscribe to, Old and New Testament. I am not entirely a "Fundamentalist" but I do hold to many principles of doctrine. I am a Protestant Christian, I worship the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe God hears our prayers. My spiritual beliefs influence me in my daily life.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I have never served in public office before, however I consider myself to be fairly conservative but not "far Right". This is because I do believe there may be limited instances such as life of a mother that may necessitate an abortion, I do believe that life begins at conception but I am in favor of birth control. While I do consider abortion to be a tragedy, I am against a complete ban of the procedure in some limited instances. I believe in religious liberty but I do not agree that same sex marriage should be banned or not legally recognized as it has been in effect for a few years now. I do not agree with discrimination against LGBTQ persons. However, I also do not accept that they are a persecuted minority such as an African American or Hispanic man or woman in the workplace for example. As long an employer or business has made efforts to accommodate all parties in the workplace or in business, there should be no reason to treat anyone differently from another.

Additional comment from candidate:
I've lived in the South King County community in which I seek to serve as a state Representative for most of my life. As a young child, I lived in the Renton Highlands and later, on Kent's Soos Creek Plateau. Today I have lived in Fairwood with my husband Casey and two minor children, Nicholas and Lauren, for 14 years. I'm an active volunteer and community activist in the greater Renton/King County area since about 2009. I've often served as a public school PTA parent and continue to do so at this time. I have strong values but I am a Pragmatic person and seek to bring people together rather than divide. I am running to serve the public for a few terms and I do not have a desire to become a career politician. I consider public service to be an honor but not one that people should do for an extended period of time. Continuing a private life, business or career outside of politics should be considered necessary to effectively serve as Representative. I'd be honored to have your vote!
