No Answer

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

As humans, we have been given free will. Our founding fathers' Judeo-Christian values along with their defining documents created a magnificent country that rose to the highest levels of achievement in our world. Our founding fathers fought the oppression of heavy handed government to eliminate the over-reaches and attempts to deny us our rights. Their demand for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness along with the rights to own property were utmost in their consideration.

Additional comment from candidate:

Planned parenthood should receive funds to provide health services to women. Planned parenthood should not receive funds intended for abortion. Regarding more restrictive gun control - I do not support more restrictive gun control for lawful owners of guns. I do support more restrictive gun control regarding unlawful ownership of guns. The ten commandments should be able to be displayed in private schools & schools of choice. Public schools should respect the division of church and state. I would worry that a couple seeking divorce may become violent or may negatively impact the children if forced to stay together beyond their wish to separate. Strict constitutional spending limits do not allow for 'emergency' expenses and I would not want our decisions for protection and freedom to ever not have the necessary resources made available . The question as worded regarding marriage and public funds was unclear to me.
