What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
America's founders wrote the Constitution in response to both their negative experiences as subjects of the King of England, but in response to the failures of the Articles of Confederation, our country's first government. The founders were focused on three primary things: first, ensuring individual liberties; second, establising strict divisions between federal and state responsibility; and third, developing a federal government that could never over-reach due to one person or party.

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I've never been elected to office, so do not have a track record one can refer to. But I have lived the American Dream, starting with nothing, and have had a successful business career. I am entering politics because I have two young sons and I do not like what the world looks like for them and their peers.
