What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man's fallen nature that leads to self-centeredness, the will to dominate over others, and personal greed.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, the voters in that they ratified and can amend the Constitution, the Constitution, and Congress and the Supreme Court as co-equal branches under the Constitution. The others have no authority under our founding documents.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None. Procedures necessitated to save the life of the mother that have the double effect of ending the life of an unborn baby should not be considered an abortion.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a lifelong member of the Winter Haven Church of the Nazarene. My faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior is shaped by the Wesleyan holiness tradition, where I rely on the Bible as God's Word and seek to live a life of holiness in my thoughts, words, and actions. I believe in the power of prayer and spend time in prayer and in the Bible every day. I believe that every person has been created in God's Image, and therefore we must treat every person with integrity and respect, even those with whom we may disagree on matters of faith and morals. I believe in God's love offered to all mankind, and no person can fall too far to be reached by God's grace. I believe in redemption.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

Government plays an important role in shaping and supporting our society, but it should be kept as small and as local as possible, allowing people the ability to support their communities through civic organization rather than relying on the government. I hesitate to identify as very conservative because that may carry a libertarian connotation. I am not a libertarian, for I believe the government has a legitimate purpose and role in providing for security and defense, law and order, infrastructure, and some limited forms of social welfare safety nets. My Christian worldview, my involvement in my church, local civic groups, and charities, as well as my judicial opinions supporting a strict interpretation of the Florida and U.S. Constitutions, all serve as a public track record by which my conservative principles may be judged. Conservatism as a set of ideals and principles transcends party politics, and the true measure of a conservative is by the way one lives his life.
