OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Agree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Strongly Agree

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

Strongly Agree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

More restrictive gun control laws are needed to protect public safety.

Strongly Disagree

The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self-interest into the most productive economic system there is.

Strongly Agree

Governments should pay to develop wind and solar energy solutions until they are economically feasible.

Strongly Disagree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with public funds.

No Answer

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters,

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

First I believe abortion, like marriage, should have never made it to the Federal Court system and there should be 50 state policies/laws, if any, regarding both. I would not interfere with abortion in the first trimester but beyond that it is unacceptable. I would vote to end late term/partial birth abortion or anything beyond first trimester. But outside of establishing policy for military and U.S. outposts the Federal Govt. needs to be out of it. I don't understand more than a million accidental pregnancies annually. We have birth control pills, condoms, spermacides, morning after pill, vasectomy, tubal ligation, IUD, etc. How are there more than a million accidental pregnancies yearly? This is a failure on many levels but I shutter to hand it over to a government entity, public health.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions…There are men, in all ages…who mean to govern well; but they mean to govern. They promise to be kind masters but they mean to be masters…They think there need be but little restraint upon themselves… The love of power may sink too deep in their own hearts. ---Daniel Webster That's it. Dilute government power!

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Personal

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

My public record is my life. This is the first time I have considered running for office. I'm a guy. No convictions, no arrests. Pay my bills and taxes. Cut my grass, trim my hedges. Leave you alone. Leave me alone. I drove to Iowa to volunteer for the Cruz campaign. I Drove to Nevada to volunteer for the Cruz campaign. I voted for Cruz after he dropped out. You will have to tell me what you find. I'm pretty much a guy who was living a life then was struck by "latent political awareness."

Additional comment from candidate:

Congress is a business. The seat I am running for is an legacy seat. The incumbent ran for Wa-3 and lost in 2010. He received $10,000 from Norm Dick's, Wa-6 incumbent's PAC in losing. 2010 was a census/redistricting year and Washington gained a house seat. That resulted in Wa-10 being gerrymandered to fit today's incumbent, Denny Heck. Mr. Heck won with the aid of Mr. Dick's former staffer as campaign manager. Mr. Edmonson then became Chief of Staff in Heck's congressional office. Another Dick's staffer, Jami Burgess, was hired as Deputy Chief of Staff. Mr. Dicks has gone on to a successful career that includes lobbying. Are there indicators here? I'm not the ideal candidate but I'm the best candidate. I'm the independent/constitution candidate. The republican candidate is a sacrifice in this race. You will never hear that I was given permission to vote a certain way by Ryan or Pelosi. I want two years. I will not fund raise for subsequent campaigns nor will I run again. Join me.
