It takes courage to stand for the right thing and it takes courage to honor our heritage. In 2009- Rick Santelli said "Obama Are You Listening?" I was listening. I helped organize one of the largest Tea Party Rallies in Austin. The media stated we had a few hundred a I got busy! I created a television and radio broadcast company and broadcast for five years. I covered legislative issues, and worked as a citizen lobbyist on issues such as illegal immigration, C-Scope, removal of Planned Parenthood, to include weeks of filming the very radical vociferous demonstrations at the Capitol. I actively worked with Peggy Venable, and Evelyn Davison as well as other strong conservatives. I have filmed interviews with Gov. Rick Perry, SBOE debates, David Gaubatz, Attorney General Greg Abbott, among others.. Broadcast from four Defending the Dream Summits. My program gave voice to Americans for Prosperity and many other conservative groups. Peggy Venable host On Point

Additional comment from candidate:
Laurie J. Bartlett, M.S. HRM. I have enjoyed entrepreneurial success as a restaurateur and in radio and television broadcasting. I hold a crystal clear understanding of the role a free market has in generating innovation, economic growth and sustaining community values. Since 2009, I have focused on preserving American ideals by protecting our way of life. I am most effective opposing Common Core, illegal immigration, radical migrant resettlement, and defending Pro Life interests and Religious Freedoms. I have brought speakers to my county to include: Gov. Rick Perry, Trevor Loudon, Donna Hearne, Dan Bongio, David Gaubatz, Dr. Karen Effrem, Randy Osborne, State Senator Brian Birdwell, and Don Barnett. I have educated over 500 people on Refugee Resettlement. # 14 I need more definition for question 14. I am totally in favor of protecting the children. # 12 A Republic
