Abortion should only be allowed when necessary to save the life of the mother.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Humanity is inherently flawed. At times we are motivated by pride, the thirst for power and by envy. We also often act rashly, without fully considering the consequences. Our nation's founders understood the doctrine of original sin as well as our proclivity for acting in a rash manner. They wisely designed our system of separate and limited powers to prevent, or at least stall, major changes in our laws that are motivated by our worst impulses.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a sinner saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. My faith is the foundation for my values.

I've been a consistent conservative as shown by my voting record in the Florida House of Representatives. I am A+ rated by the NRA and endorsed by the Florida Right to Life PAC. My wife and I met in law school. We have three boys and are raising them in the church. I also served as a deacon in our church.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
A healthy economy is the key to low unemployment and getting government out of the way is the key to a healthy economy. We must continue to eliminate job-killing regulations to allow business owners to grow and create more jobs.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Our massive and inefficient healthcare system stifles innovation. There is so much money flowing through the system that its protectors have tremendous power. The distortion that the federal government specifically has brought into our healthcare system has generated a maze of inefficiencies and increased costs over decades that can only be navigated by large special interests and an army of attorneys. Before entrepreneurs can increase quality and access to care while also reducing cost, everyone needs to know prices, and everyone needs skin in the game. Until then, taxpayers, employers, and consumers will always be pumping in more money with little improvement in quality or access to show for the ballooning cost.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The greatest role government can play in our economy is staying out of the way of hard-working job creators. This starts with eliminating job-killing regulations that only limit the ability of business owners to expand, create more jobs and contribute to our economy.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I received a JD/MBA from Southern Methodist University. I’ve spent my career in law, including the last 8 years at the intersection of law and business as General Counsel and CFO for a group of car dealerships. I’m part of the Executive Team managing 10 dealerships and 600 employees in 3 states.
