Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Risk to the mother, caused by rape, after consultation with doctor and spiritual advisor. Abortion is a personal decision made by those affected without interference.I am against abortion, and have never been part of the decision making process that I believe is wholly owned by the woman.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The founders were escaping the tyranny of their home country. They were refugees. I am a descendant of Brewster the Elder from the Mayflower. Those early immigrants suffered greatly to reach these lands. They eventually thought they could have Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. And they knew they could/should be able to make life's decision on their own.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised with the family Bible from England read on a regular basis. Church services were every Sunday. 5th grade Catholic school. 10th grade Catholic boarding school (St Martins). Seattle U with its Jesuits for my undergrad and graduate school. I follow the ethics of Aesop's fables.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Our unemployment rate is dangerously low at the moment. If it rises, one very effective public works project to the benefit of all would be to develop the electrical transmission corridors. The BPA lines are 15,000 miles long, 200'+ wide. Convert the existing lines to Cryogenic Dielectric High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) power cable eliminating 10%+ of the loss from the antiquated existing lines. Numerous types of housing for the economically disadvantaged are prototyped for sustainability in the corridors. http://worldperc.com/USPERC/loway.html was previously submitted to the City of Seattle and the affected community, and was passed by both in 1999. This solution treads upon any demands for additional resources. https://youtu.be/uSlGcKTaTgc A cadre of trainees converting every house in America would save 80% of our usage by turning homes into batteries exporting NegaWatts up to the grid.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would offer a student, loan forbearances if the student spends time with community health that treats our economically disadvantaged community. Those caught up in the safety net affect us all with higher health care costs.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Public works that would take on a novel project while replacing our national infrastructure. A public works project provides housing, food, clothing, heath care and entertainment to a large population set from many disciplines.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I grew up in a household with highly motivated and educated parents. The Encyclopedia Britannica and the World Book collections were proudly displayed and used in our living room. Mother taught public schools for 30 years, and Father graduated from Kings Point Academy and then out to war. They sent me to a Catholic grade school, and a year in boarding school in search of educational opportunities. It was assumed I would go to college, not necessarily where Mother got her degrees, Western in Bellingham where I matriculated in 1966. It was a time of migrations. Many youthful travelers were heading West while others were on the trail to the East. I went East, driving to Nepal in a VW, 1968-69. Fifty plus countries later rounded out my worldview from first hand accounts. A return to formalize my education were degree in Business Administration and a Master's granted in Public Administration with an Information Technology interest, in 1992 and 1995 respectively. Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
My search for medical help with my personal ailments has taken me around the world. At sixteen I was told by the top doctors that my life wouldn't pass forty. At seventy I am a very lucky and grateful person. Daily grateful.
