Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
•For nearly 40 years I have been building businesses and creating jobs, providing thousands of families a secure income and safe retirements. •I have a record of fighting for our right to live our faith as we see fit and not be restrained or limited by the government. •I support life and will ensure that groups like Planned Parenthood do not receive another dollar of federal funding. •I follow Catholic teaching by which marriage is a sacrament consisting of the union between one man and one woman. •I believe in the first amendment and the fundamental right of all Americans to religious freedom. •I support school choice and competition for quality education •I opposes amnesty of any sort for those who have entered the country illegally •As a life-long hunter, I will never support any policy that will take away our constitutionally mandated right to bear arms.

Additional comment from candidate:
I’m running for Congress to bring an outside voice to Washington. My background as a real-life business leader will help create jobs and grow economic opportunity for families across Southwest Florida. It's time to tear down Washington to rebuild America. With respect to number nine, while I strongly agree that current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than necessary, I must also be clear that I oppose and have for some time any drilling off the Florida coast.
