QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Only in situations where one must be performed to save the pregnant woman's life or prevent serious impairment of a major bodily function.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

All innocent human life deserved full protection of the law.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

As the Author of House Bill 7, the Texas Woman and Child Protection Act, I am proudly leading the fight against illegal and dangerous abortion pills which continue to flood in to Texas. The law we wrote and passed is the nation's strongest measure to protect women and their babies from these already illegal pills --- which is why I was grateful to be named the 2025 Champion for Life by Texas Right to Life. Protecting innocent life is my most fundamental, sacred and important duty.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

We should be focused not on the minimum wage of Texans -- but instead on the maximum wage that Texans should have the opportunity to pursue.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Businesses and people are flocking to Texas – and it’s not by mistake! We have aggressively implemented free-market, taxpayer-friendly policies where businesses can thrive, resulting in more quality, high-paying jobs for Texans. We must work collectively to protect the policies that have made Texas an economic powerhouse, while advancing smart reforms that lower taxes, limit government spending, ensure regulations are fair and predictable and crack down on abusive, frivolous lawsuits.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

I don't believe in the separation of church and state except to the extent government should absolutely stay out of the business of churches. We need more faith -- more Church -- more Christians -- in the halls of government at all levels.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Texas should be leading the way for medical freedom, healthcare freedom and healthcare transparency and innovation, ensuring fairness and accountability and promoting free-market solutions to our healthcare woes. Government does have a safety-net role -- but that role should be substantially limited to help those most in need and to aid them getting back on their feet as quick as possible. We can offer a trampoline to help people up, if you will.... but NOT a hammock in which people slumber.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. I am a strong supporter of Israel and the Jewish people -- and I will never waver or relent in that support. And I will never apologize for it.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

As the lead author of the Parent's Bill of Rights that we passed in 2025, I am proudly leading the charge to protect the rights of parents to have not just a seat at the table... but to occupy THE SEAT at the head of the table when it comes to the education of our children.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus Saves!

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Texas is the energy capital of the world. We must continue to drill for oil, develop and transport natural gas and advance policies that ensure Texas is at the forefront of America's nuclear renaissance.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system is and should be simple: To ensure justice.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

As the author of the groundbreaking 2017 "American Law for American Courts" bill and also having led the charge against the EPIC development in 2025, you'd be hard pressed to find a legislator who has been more aggressive or outspoken or effective at combatting the advancement of radical islam in Texas than me.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We must protect the fundamental and sacred right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms, as guaranteed by the United States and Texas Constitutions.
