Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None. I thank PFL (http://www.priestsforlife.org) for publishing explanations that align with my position. Is there ever need for an abortion to save the mother's life? Morally is an abortion ever justified? The answer to both is no. There is no medical situation whose only solution is a direct abortion, as many doctors have testified. Morally speaking it is never right to directly kill an innocent person, even if good results are foreseen. We do not say that a baby's life is more important than the mother's. We say that they are equal. You may never directly kill either one of them. If, in spite of the best medical efforts, one or both of them die, nothing morally wrong has been done, because an effort has been made to save life, but has failed. That is far different from killing. A woman is traumatized by rape or incest. We need to love the victim unconditionally. An abortion will not bring relief to the trauma of the rape.I will love both the mother and the child, not add trauma.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Our Founders and Framers knew man had a fallen nature, that man is susceptible to temptation and sin (greed, covetousness, pride/ego), like Acton stated, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." They knew concentrated power in the hands of few leads to a oligarchy and that a government with checks and balances, overseen by the people, could have a chance of preserving the Rule of Law, the republic, and freedom.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am Roman Catholic. I believe in the Holy Trinity. I believe Christ died for my sins, He has risen and He will come again. I believe in the dignity of the human person and that a person should have freedom to use their co-creative powers that God blessed them with in order to generate wealth and provide for their family, as well as be a good steward for their church, community and country. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I do not have a publicly available track record. My family and I have actively participated in pro-life, pro-religious liberty, pro-second amendment events as well as other liberty minded events. Yesterday I spoke against state coercion and eminent domain at our state capital. I am an alum of ACTON University. I am a retired Naval Commander with just under 27 years of service. I am also a home-schooling father of six. I have my own defense consulting company, and do small business managerial, logistics and operational consulting.

Additional comment from candidate:
#4. For any declared war, we need to apply just war doctrine. At one and the same time: the damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain; all other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective; there must be serious prospects of success; the use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated. The power of modern means of destruction weighs very heavily in evaluating this condition. #5 Numerical Superiority may or may not be necessary. What is necessary is the U. S. is able to communicate with the arsenal through all phases of all types of conflicts and that sufficient means exist to retaliate against all enemies, multiple times if need be. We could be numerically superior, but without the ability to communicate, we cannot execute or we would operate Indiscriminately. Robust comms with correct posturing is our best deterrent.
