#6 This protection is already afforded by the first amendment. #17 It is not the proper role of government to define marriage. It is by our Christian beliefs that marriage is defined as being between one man and woman. This is the role of the church, not the role of the government. #21 From a liberty standpoint, and the proper role of government, what one man does in the confines of his own property is his choice. When his actions violate the liberty of others, they are subject to the appropriate laws.
