Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
All.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Power was separated and limited to prevent any one branch of government from becoming totalitarian. It was important to the Founders that the voice of the people be present at all times and that no one segment or opinion could drown out the call of the people. By separating powers, this prevented any single person or group from gaining insurmountable control, thus forcing debate and discussion, which would in turn bring about the most important and viable ideas for legislation.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
No. My beliefs are between myself and God.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Liberal
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I am a liberal because I believe a liberal should be seen as a progressive. I believe that there are better ideas ahead of us, as opposed to behind us. While having not been a politician before, I cannot point to previous legislation I have passed. Instead, I can point to polingforcongress.com which outlines and details my opinions on a multitude of issues and explains how I believe they are forward-thinking and a betterment for all members of our country.

Additional comment from candidate:
It is important going forward that we remove the attachment political parties feel towards certain agendas and talking points. Voters are being disenfranchised by being forced to choose between two political parties that do not always contain all of the ideas of the individual. Which party, for instance, would a socially liberal, economically conservative person align with? What if you're conservative, but do not care about gay marriage? What if you're liberal, but a staunch supporter of gun rights? I'm working with a new system, Place A Vote, to remove the worries of the people described above. Current political parties work like Hungry, Hungry Hippos. Someone comes up with a position, there's a race to gobble it up, and the other party takes the opposing side of the spectrum simply to be a contrarian. I pledge to remove this. By utilizing a system that decouples the issues from the parties, we can focus on the merits of the idea, as opposed to the lobbying.
