Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life of mother at risk

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man's corruptibility. The fact that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. So, they chose to limit the power that any one branch or individual could wield, setting up a system of separation of powers and checks and balances to that power by other branches.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian, I believe in the Trinity, and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and died that we might be forgiven our sins and enjoy eternal life.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I introduced the Arizona Law (SB1070) in California as AB26 less than 6 minutes after being sworn in. I pushed to eliminate all in-state funding of illegal aliens in our colleges and universities and for that funding to be made available instead to members of the armed services, their spouses and children transferred into California through no fault of their own. I organized a statewide effort to repeal the CA Dream Act (giving Illegal aliens free college tuition). I introduced a bill that became law--AB351 The Liberty Preservation Act--to keep our state from cooperating with Federal Authorities in indefinitely detaining citizens suspected of being terrorists (which according to a 2011 DHS Study, could include returning veterans, those who oppose abortion, members of tea party or patriot groups, and those who "love liberty too much".
