Additional comment from candidate:
My faith in God, love of my family and the willingness to die for my country. These are the things that drive Sam Anders, a current member of the Air Force Reserves with 16 years of service and a veteran of “Operation Enduring Freedom.” I know firsthand how the judgments handed down in D.C. impact our military and their families. I now want to serve my community the same way I serve my country—with honor, integrity and selflessness. As in many situations there comes a time when someone must speak up, speak out, and be heard in Washington. That someone is me, and that time is now. I took an oath in 1999 to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, I now wants to take that oath to Washington and continue the journey to preserve and strengthen the American Dream, ensuring that our God given rights as citizens can never be taken away. We should always strive for “People First, Politics Second.”
