Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. I believe in the Creation of man by God. I believe in the incarnation and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He shed His blood and rose from the grave to provide eternal life for those who believe in Him.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
As a City Councilman I recently authored and passed a resolution to display our Nation's motto "in God we Trust" in our Council Chamber. As City Treasurer I drafted an ordinance that made it clear no council member or city employee could restrict the content of opening prayer at our Council meetings - anyone is free to pray in "Jesus name". Also as a City Councilman and former City Treasurer I have played a significant role in passing a balanced budget each year I have been in office. I have been the only Council member to vote against raising property taxes for our City - disguised as a permanent CFD for public services.

Additional comment from candidate:
Serving as City Treasurer and City Councilman allows me to bring to Congress an understanding and knowledge of the needs and the challenges of everyday citizens and the cities in which they live. I want to utilize my experience in business as well as local government to help bring jobs and economic development to this district. I also have personal experience with large transportation projects and I will pursue transportation dollars to bring traffic relief and transportation improvement to this area. As a pastor, businessman, City Treasurer and Councilman I have literally signed checks “on both sides” in the non-profit, private and public sectors. I am running for Congress because there is a desperate need in Washington for leadership that is able to relate to the public it serves.
