The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Save mother's life.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The desire for liberty. It is best protected by a system that divides and limits the powers of government.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a lifelong Catholic and conservative, social as well as fiscal. I've had some conservatives tell me I would have a glittering political career if I would drop that "pro-life crap." For me it's a package deal. My conservatism is not just intellectual. It also comes from my heart and soul. It comes from my Christian faith.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
State Senator: voted against state sales/income tax increases and use of embryos and fetuses for medical research; voted for vouchers, charter schools, and other educational reforms; voted for concealed carry. County Commissioner: county property tax went up 6 of 7 years prior to my joining board in 2005; as candidate I vowed that would not happen on my watch, and it didn't; we made tough decisions and found ways to make spending match revenue without raising the county property tax. Advocate for pro-life, pro-business, and pro-family causes. Well-known positions over 15 years of hosting talk-radio shows. Self-published book Fix It Now: Rediscover the Constitution and Get America Out of Its Fiscal Death Spiral. It's at Amazon.com and at www.createspace.com/3848746.

Additional comment from candidate:
Excerpt from stump speech: I have proven that when I go into the bubble of government headquarters, I do not become a creature of the bubble. I’m the same guy inside that bubble that I am out here with you. I have scar tissue from battling Democrats and sometimes Republicans in the political arena. But I always have been able to look into my children’s eyes, and into the eyes of my constituents, and I say I did not forget you, I did not let you down, I did not betray you. Never have, never will. I am the tested and trusted conservative fighter you need in that political arena battling for you.
