Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion is an ideology. I consider myself pro-life but in California the voters do not want to overturn current abortion law. I will support abortion laws that Californians want (as long as it does not force someone who is pro-life to participate in abortion).

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We must work to improve our foreign policy. I am not against the idea of entering into discussions with those of radical Islam. I am not saying I will negotiate but I will talk to them. There are "root" causes as to why young men and women are choosing to engage in this form of Islam. We can not bomb our way out of this mess.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Apostle Paul wrote a letter to Roman followers of Jesus Christ which exposes what the root cause of humanity's problem is (we are sinful). Because of that ideology, the founders built in checks and balances in the Constitution to try and prevent corrupt human nature from impacting government. If we have too many corrupt individuals in our society, our country will fall.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a hell deserving sinner saved from eternal damnation by my Lord and King Jesus Christ. I constantly identify myself as a follower of Jesus Christ. His second commandment of loving one's neighbor as one's self is a reflection of my devotion to King Jesus. I take that seriously. My personal standard of ethics must be very high. I do not make a decision in my life unless it is based on the teachings of Jesus and the Bible. My establishment clause is that I render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to King Jesus Christ those things that are King Jesus Christ's.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I would refer people who are interested to friend me on Facebook. I frequently post political observations and spiritual items on my Facebook page.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe in a Medicare-for-All system of healthcare coverage. Healthcare is a human right. Nobody should be denied healthcare because they are too poor or can not afford it. I would pay for it by raising the Medicare tax. Provisions for conscience would be allowed. The Medicare tax would fluctuate based on the health of Americans. We should promote preventive healthcare.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

A general philosophy would be that if the free market becomes corrupt because of greed then government must intervene to circumvent the corruption. If the free market can not provide livable income to its citizens then the government must take action.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

I like the idea of a progressive tax code that closes loopholes so that big corporations can not take advantage of the American people and exploit workers overseas.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Make sure plenty of jobs are available and ensure that training exists to help workers learn how to do new jobs. Keep track of various types of discrimination that are taking place which prevents people from getting jobs.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Raise taxes for both employers and employees to keep SS intact. Pass legislation that will prohibit the government from raiding social security in order to borrow money for different items. I also believe in a yearly cost of living increase for social security benefactors.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am very passionate about helping people and "religiously" keep abreast of world affairs and events. I consider myself very educated and my job experiences have allowed me to intermingle with many different types of people. Because I am single and have no family obligations I think that will allow me to maintain a high level of devotion to the job.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

There are many ways that the followers of Jesus Christ can impact a culture. Politics happens to be my personal interest. As a senator, I will have a platform to share the ultimate answer of Jesus Christ to people. I will have the opportunity to impact and help many people in California and the nation. I will be accessible to my constituents. Flexibility is a character trait that the Lord Jesus has taught me. I am open to change if I am given a good logical and data-based statistical analysis.
