Constitution
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
If immediately reported in the event of rape or incest after counseling.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
"The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground." - Thomas Jefferson. Power naturally centralizes and as it does, freedom is destroyed. By separating powers, and creating checks and balances, it was the hope of the Founders that government would remain limited and that our government would not be too efficient (in the sense that it could move swiftly to create or change law). The Founders wanted broader consensus prior to change.

I am the only U.S. Senate candidate in America with his own flat tax, which can be accessed at TomDel.com. My flat tax is backed by Steve Forbes, Art Laffer, Larry Kudlow and Stephen Moore. Readers are encouraged to read my books The New Conservative Paradigm or The Divided Era (which explains how our ever larger governments cause increased division). They can also read my op/eds @ Forbes.com, The Daily Caller, Washington Times, Human Events, The Hill, or Breitbart. Links to all of those columns can be accessed directly by going to PoliticalVanguard.com. I am a small business attorney and have been for 28 years. I have owned my own small business for 20 years. I approach things from that perspective.

Additional comment from candidate:
Our governments, from local city councils to the federal government, spend over $6 trillion per year - over 1/3rd of the economy. On top of that, regulations cost us over $2 trillion a year. In other words, government and the costs of government are nearly half the economy today. That is UNSUSTAINABLE. It is the reason for our high national debt, high tax burden and slow economic growth. We must restore economic growth to above 3.5% (preferably 4%) or we will continue our current reduction in our standard of living and debt will continue to accumulate. The way to restore such growth is not through more government spending - if government spending could create wealth, then by now all our problems would be solved. We can only restore that growth rate by reducing the size of government, simplifying the tax code with a fat tax and reducing regulations. It is time to let the America people rebuild our economy.
