What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founding Father's knew that the nature of mankind is not disposed toward moral good. They knew that moral good only comes through rigorous self-discipline informed by a strong moral code. Christian, Jew and even non-religious founders and thinkers who influenced our Constitution all believed the best moral code to inform that behavior was the Judeo-Christian ethic. Federalist #51 written by James Madison best describes what influenced the founders to limit and separate governmental power.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstances.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a "Born Again" Christian. I believe that there is one God who is the God of the Bible. I believe the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired Word of God and provide the comprehensive code for life, morality and ethics. I believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. I believe that all men are fallible and in need of a Savior. I believe the Christian should be charitable to all men notwithstanding their personal religious beliefs. And I believe the Christian ethic and institutions should be the primary provider of private charity--not the government.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I am a pro-life, pro-family conservative who believes in the protection of life from conception to natural death and that when we make marriage laws, they should be defined as the union of one man and one woman. I believe government should be limited at the federal level to only those functions as defined in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. I believe outside of those restrictions that any other government activities are left to the authority of the states and to the people per the 10th Amendment of the Constitution. I believe state government should also be limited and that local control by elected county, city and local governments is always the best, default place where government activities should take place. I believe in the principles of individual liberty and that all rights emanate from the people and are the province of "Nature and Nature's God" and not from the government.
