What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
End or seriously curtail Muslim immigration here and in Europe. Europe has already jeopardised itself by importing millions of Muslims. We should not repeat their mistakes. Stop getting involved in Islamic Civil Wars. Defend Western Civilization and the Judeo-Christian tradition. Reject multiculturalism and cultural Marxism. Rout terrorists and other threats wherever we find them but do not engage in any more "Democracy Projects" or nation building in the Muslim World or elsewhere. Engage philosophically by promoting Western values and the superiority of our system and way of life. Stong Military.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I strongly believe in God. I hold that our God is a rational God who created a rational, ordered universe with laws of nature. That by study and reflection we can learn God's laws. There are external, objective truths. There is beauty and reason. There is the wisdom of the ages. All of this can elevate us today in our own search for truth, wisdom, and meaning. It is also an important counterpoint to the the post-modern relativists and cultural marxists of the left who dominate our colleges, schools, media, and culture in general.

I have been a conservative columnist since 1992, weighing in on the issues of the day since 1992 published in newspapers in Indiana available at my website: exodusmd.com There are hundreds of articles on any number of issues in which I take and articulate conservative positions. I have written two books, one coming out in April, the other Matilda's Triumph, a memoir, but in its own way a conservative book.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Price transparency, even the tax playing field between individual buyers and employer based, make employer based insurance single buyer model and therefore portable so doesn’t end if lose job or quit. Vouchers for govt. insurance with an eye to expanding the single buyer market including Medicaid and Medicare, SCHIP, Tricare, VA, which introduces competition and choice. Sliding scale subsidies for the poor with emphasis on individual buyers purchasing their own private health insurance. Stop subsidizing insurance companies and hospitals (the insurance-hospital cartel). Health sharing ministries. HSAs, buying across state lines. Break the employer based and govt. model and implement free market reforms that increase choice, improve quality, and lower costs, as exists in the rest of the economy.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Getting its boot of the neck of the economy by cutting taxes, spending, and regulations. Provide the best environment for private sector economic growth.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Starting for those at age 50, so they have time to prepare, raise retirement age to 68 or higher. Reduce the rate of growth of benefits to match inflation not wage growth. Privatize as in Chile. Make it a true trust fund, not a bunch of IOUs as it is now. Separate it from government general fund. Should be actual insurance/pension plan with numbered individual accounts as in private sector.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I bring an unusual background and knowledge of the issues, real life experience, knowledge of the world, and commitment to first principles of constitutional conservatism, liberty, limited government, our founding documents and history, our culture and traditions. I understand the crucial importance of faith and family as the twin pillars of a robust civil society, and of the Judeo-Christian foundation of our nation. I will be a defender of Western civilization and hence of American civilization. I also recognize the danger of Washington DC to the well being of our country. Career politicians in both parties go to Washington, cut deals, grow the size of government, and bankrupt our children. I will oppose career politicians in both parties and our dysfunctional and corrupt one party system in DC.
