What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Mankind's sinful nature and tendency to seek power over others is what caused America's Founders to define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born-again Christian, and this gives me a tremendous sense of peace even though Christians individually, and the United States as a country, face incredibly trying times. God has a plan for each of us
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
Contributed to campaigns to elect two conservative Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices, Annette Ziegler and Michael Gableman. Contributed to multiple conservative candidates at the state level in Wisconsin and Indiana, and at the national level. Unseated a 20 year incumbent Democrat who was the Senate Majority Leader in Wisconsin. As a Wisconsin State Senator voted for multiple pieces of socially and fiscally conservative pieces of legislation including Wisconsin Act 10 (collective bargaining reform), Wisconsin Act 35 (Concealed Carry Bill) and Wisconsin Act 217 (pro life bill). We balanced a $3.6 billion deficit by cutting spending, and not raising any taxes. Achieved a 100% perfect score from the American Conservative Union for work in WI legislature. I was the campaign committee chairperson for the Curt Nisly campaign, Indiana House District 22 (unseated liberal incumbent Rebecca Kubacki) Conservative Governor Scott Walker has sent me a letter of support in my race for Congress.

Additional comment from candidate:
Regarding question 4, I disagree with the premise of the question because terrorists are already in the United States. We must respond to this threat, but do so in a way that upholds the civil liberties of Americans. Also, we need to exercise caution before getting involved militarily in other countries, and should do so only in cases of compelling national interest. Family is a priority for me. I took a leave of absence from my medical practice to care for my mother when she was ill in 2007. Later, when severe illness struck both sides of my family, I resigned my position of Wisconsin State Senator. My husband and I then moved to his home state of Indiana in order to better coordinate care for multiple ill family members. The preservation of the family is extremely important to me.
