Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I have a voting record in the Indiana General Assembly and with 8 years of voting sessions, my record of votes speaks for itself.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

The best way to bring down unemployment is to allow the free market to overcome economic barriers and give flexibility to employers. Easing regulation of small businesses will also increase economic growth and increase employment as they are the fastest growing sector of our economy. Encouraging and providing pathways for people to improve their skills and education is also helpful in filling our needed skills gap.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Move the healthcare coverage more to a free market environment that allows for market competition. Allow direct access without having to go through all the layers of bureaucracy as well could lower costs. Medical savings accounts are also a viable and usable option that can drive costs down.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Streamline the regulations to allow the economy to do what it needs to grow.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have been a health care provider for 37 years and am a small business owner. I have also served in the Indiana General Assembly for the past 8 years and have developed relationships and created and passed legislation that has improved the lives and protected the freedoms of Indiana Hoosiers.
