OTHER INFORMATION
Voted Yes for House Roll Call Vote 1337 pro-life 2016 which was the final concurrence vote in the Indiana House on a pro-life bill from this session that banned abortion because of race, gender or disability and also mandated that abortion clinics must dispose of aborted babies through a relationship with a funeral home via either burial or cremation. Currently they are allowed to treat aborted baby bodies as "medical waste". Voted No for SB 20 sexual orientation 2016 which is an amendment to a bill in the Indiana House that would have added special protections for "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" into state law.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am 100% Pro-Life. Abortion should never be legal and I hope the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
We must seek to root out evil wherever it exists. While the US cannot be the world’s policeman, we have a moral obligation to stand against radical Islamic terrorism and fundamentalists like ISIS wherever they are. They threaten our national security and must be stopped.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Our rights come from God, not man. America’s founders recognized this and so enshrined in the Constitution specific liberties and freedoms that were meant to be enforced by a federal government. Unfortunately, future politicians forgot the meaning of the Constitution and have used the government to aid in re-election, not protecting our freedoms from tyranny.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a God-fearing Christian. He has blessed me and my family with success in business and for that I am forever grateful. I know that no matter what happens, He watches over us all. Jesus Christ is my savior and I am his humble servant.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am running because Hoosiers are ready for leaders who can break the stranglehold career politicians have on the federal government. I'm ready to bring conservative change to Washington. I know that President Trump is going to need reinforcements if he is going to drain the swamp in DC, and replacing Democrat Senator Joe Donnelly with a Hoosier conservative who can get the job done is a good place to start.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I’ve done this in my own business. First, we must repeal ObamaCare and its mandates. Health insurance costs can be brought down if we let the free market do its thing and stop kowtowing to big insurance. I was able to provide health insurance that was more affordable to my employees by simply designing my own plan. It’s time that government got out of the way.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government doesn’t create jobs. The free market does. The government needs to get out of the way to let job creators thrive and capital to form. We need to cut taxes, eliminate, regulations, and stop picking winners and losers in the free market.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
We need to eliminate special interest loopholes and cut marginal rates. I applaud President Trump’s recent tax cut bill which accomplished many of these goals, but we can do even more and that’s what I’ll fight for in the Senate.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Create a climate for economic growth where jobs can flourish. We can do that by cutting taxes and getting government off the backs of American job creators.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
We must fully fund Social Security for future generations. Instead of wasting money we don’t have on government programs that don’t work, we should prioritize important programs like Social Security. I am open to other proposals to change the way Social Security is paid for or administered but will not support raising taxes to do so.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have spent my life in business, not politics. There are too many people who spend their lives in politics and government, and what has it gotten us? Record debt, a country in turmoil, a weakened America. It’s time we started sending people from outside politics to change the way Washington works. President Trump was right. We need fewer career politicians and more citizens to take up arms and drain the swamp!
