Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
First, I will never vote to fund abortion providers because I believe it is simply wrong for taxpayers to be forced to pay for abortions when it goes against their religious beliefs. This is why I oppose Congressman David Rouzer's votes to fund America's largest abortion provider Planned Parenthood with $525 Million in taxpayer funds this year. Secondly, I believe the only circumstances under which abortion could be allowed are in cases of incest, rape and to protect the life of the mother. We must protect our unborn children if America is to regain its moral standing.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Kings, dictators and tyrants are created when one person or branch of government holds absolute power. Congress has an incredible power to prevent a President from violating the law, ignoring the Constitution and acting like a king: It is called the power of the purse. That is why I oppose Congressman Rouzer's vote to fund President Obama's illegal executive amnesty ordersand President Obama’s scheme to relocate illegal immigrants and Muslim refugees here in our communities.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a member of Holy Cross Church in Clayton, North Carolina, as are my wife and our three sons. I believe in the right to life and that marriage is a deeply religious ceremony between one man and one woman. I do NOT believe the government should involve itself in the definition of marriage by intervening in the church's long held practices. My core values come from my hard-working parents, my religious upbringing, from being a husband and a father, and from my own life experiences. I firmly believe that one's core values should never be sacrificed or traded for political favors or political power, ever.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
The best way to learn about my conservative values are by visiting my website, www.StandWithMe.us. What I believe in and what I will never support are clearly and incontrovertibly laid out on the website. You can also listen to my radio interviews and watch my televised appearances there. In short. I oppose amnesty; I oppose resettling illegal immigrants and Muslim refugees here in our communities; I oppose increasing the national debt and I oppose funding for abortion providers. That is why I feel called to challenge incumbent congressman David Rouzer. His documented votes on those issues do not reflect my core values. I support a balanced budget, I support the right to life, I believe in term limits for members of congress and I believe in the 2nd amendment and the right to keep and bear arms.

Additional comment from candidate:
Career politicians and lobbyists do not have our best interests at heart. I know this first hand, because as a Republican Party Chairman, activist and volunteer for 15 years I have helped send people to Raleigh and to Washington only to see them become engulfed by the political establishment and fall victim to the special interest money and pressure from leadership. In fact, I volunteered for Congressman David Rouzer’s campaign just two years ago, only to see him forget where he came from and who he is supposed to represent. That is why I am running against him now. This is not personal – David is a nice guy; Perhaps too nice. What we need is someone willing to fight for us every single day, every single vote. It is simply not good enough for our congressman to vote one way one day, and then vote the opposite way a few weeks later, over and over again. If elected, I will be a consistently conservative congressman.
