Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under no circumstances.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
What caused them to write our founding documents in such a way was their belief and confidence that God was to be honored in all things. They understood that nature's God determines our laws, and if we fail to obey those laws, we operate to our detriment.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and entrusted him with my life at a young age. I have raised my family to honor God and He is the reason for our strength and resolve to contribute to our community.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I stand on my voting record at the Ohio Statehouse. Each and every vote is carefully considered by me, since each issue is so important to the people of Ohio.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to reduce unemployment is to allow the private sector to have fewer regulations and mandates. The market can drive itself if state and federal government will pull away and allow rugged individualism to take the lead. I have confidence in the entrepreneurs that they can move ahead with little interference from government, with their ideals for profiting from a product or service.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Again, the private market can drive itself. It is not the role of government to provide healthcare to Americans. Competition breeds excellence and weeds out incompetent providers.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Fewer regulations, lowering taxes, fewer mandates, less government in the lives and business of Americans.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
My family owned a small business my entire life in the farming industry (Hay, Straw, Produce) and I learned early that it was all about cutting expenses and raising revenue. I watched my family members deal with what it meant to run a small business. My local involvement with the Republican party helped me understand county offices and the role government should play in our community. As a fourth generation Ohioan, I understand this community, what it means to work multiple jobs, make a house payment, manage a home and family and become involved in civic agencies city-wide. I've volunteered and contributed in a number of ways. Serving in public office is just another way to do that.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I have loved serving my first term in the House. It has been a most rewarding and educational experience. I look forward to passing my bills in the next year - Banning Sanctuary Cities in Ohio; Stand Your Ground Bill; Giving $2,000 tax credit to volunteer firefighters; and a Resolution recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
