Strongly Agree

Marijuana should be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man's sinful nature.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

There is no justification for the destruction of an unborn child. In cases when the life of the mother is at stake, physicians must make their best effort to save both patients, with equal care given to mother and baby.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe there is only one true God, the God of the Bible, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Because of the sin nature of man and God's desire that no one should perish, the all-sovereign God (made up the Trinity) gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, so that man could enjoy eternity with God through the plan of salvation in the Bible. God Sovereign's will and direction for man is sufficient for man to govern his affairs and seek his salvation; thus, one's view of God determines his view of government.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

Throughout my life, I have advocated and advanced conservative principles. I co-founded a Christian and classical school and Early Act First Knight, a character and service curriculum sponsored in public and private schools by Rotary clubs. As a citizen, I worked and testified on the Pastor's Protection bill in 2015 and in 2013 and 2015 the American Law for American Courts (ALAC) bill, written to prevent courts from accepting foreign law (Sharia law). While in law school, I authored "The Right to Anonymity," a comprehensive study of the privacy rights secured by our Constitution, which was later published and used as a stimulus in changing a Texas privacy statute. At the age of 33, I won a Texas Supreme Court case, securing the right of Texans to testify on their own behalf in civil cases. I served as Counsel for the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C. and I am Texas counsel for Act for America, which is focused on fighting against the implementation of Sharia.

Additional comment from candidate:

The moral fabric of the great sovereign State of Texas is getting ripped to shreds because good men and women and are doing little or nothing. which is why Proverb 3:27 is a favorite passages in the Bible that guides my life. I am committed to putting principle over politics, and I will fight to defend our liberties and advance conservative principles.
