As a fourth generation Texan and young child growing up in Longview, Texas, I attended First Baptist Church and was very proud of my perfect attendance record in Sunday School year after year. Having lived in Arlington since 1973 with my husband of 48 years, we raised our chldren in our Trinity Methodist Church home. I believe that giving one's time to serve in an elected position to help our community and our state is reflective of my conservative Christian values.
