What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Because we live in a fallen world, men tend to lust after the accumulation of worldly things such as political power over their fellow man. Governments throughout history have shown that the accumulation of power in a few hands is dangerous to the rights of all others. It is our sinfulness and tendency to concentrate power that led the Framers to so limit the power of government. Men cannot be trusted with unlimited power, especially if the aim is to preserve liberty.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion should never be allowed. Life is precious.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I'm a Christian.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

As a city councilman, I voted against four straight city budgets by myself because I had promised voters I would not vote for a budget that increased spending or the size and scope of government. I also fought to ensure that no public money went to organizations that referred women to Planned Parenthood. Further, I fought for property rights for unincorporated residents threatened by unjustep forced annexation. I continued my work fighting for limited government at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, where I published numerous articles and research publications on conservative solutions for local governments.

Additional comment from candidate:

If you are tired of candidates who say one thing and do another, who will stand up for our God-given rights, and who will fight every day for the Constitution, then I hope to have your support. I am a conservative who will do what I say I'll do. Thanks!
