Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Therefore, the power of persons in government must be limited or it will inevitably lead to the oppression of the citizens.
What is the proper use of legislative history in interpreting statutory law?
If the plain language of the legislative act renders it impossible to interpret, which should be exceptionally rare, then legislative history is appropriately used for the limited purpose of determining the intent of the legislators.
What specific text in the Declaration of Independence provides the critical basis for individual rights and the form of government guaranteed in the United States Constitution?
That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it...
In which partisan primary election did you most recently vote (e.g. Democratic, Republican, etc.)?

The U.S. Constitution and my state constitution should be interpreted as living documents, rather than use a strict constructionist or originalist philosophy.

In light of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges allowing members of the same sex to marry, which justice’s opinion in that case most closely approximates your understanding of marriage?

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I firmly believe in the Holy Trinity and the path to salvation through Jesus Christ and the redemptive power of His blood. We are all children of God and should follow His path to serve and help others in His name.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
My voting record is constant and Republican. I am the highest rated judge in Collin County because of my insistence in exercising restraint and refusal to legislate from the bench. I have an unblemished record in appeals from felony criminal cases, the type of cases that the Court of Criminal Appeals hears. My integrity and ethics are above reproach.

Additional comment from candidate:
I encourage all voters to research the record of each candidate in this race. I am Board Certified in Criminal Law and have unmatched experience in the exact cases this court will hear. I have chosen to follow Ronal Reagan's 11th commandment and have not spoken ill of my fellow Republicans. I encourage them to do the same because the incumbent in this race is a Democrat and is running for re-election. If you are seeking a criminal law expert, with extensive experience and a perfect appellate record in the very type of cases this court will hear, and the highest rated judge in Collin County, with unmatched integrity and knowledge of the law, then there is one candidate who qualifies. I ask for your vote March 1st, Chris Oldner for Judge, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 2
