The Founders recognized that men were imperfect and would seek power and would eventually use that power in a tyrannical way. As a precaution, they created competing branches of the government with a mix of powers that would ensure the independence of each branch and keep power from accumulating in any one branch.

• Repeal Obama Care and institute free market principals • Expand the availability of Health Saving Accounts (HSA) • Accelerate the FDA drug approval process • Allow for insurance to be sold across state lines
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
•Ensure Regulations are kept to the minimum required for safety and equality. Eliminate bureaucratic overreach. •Maintain a stable fiscal policy. Balance the budget and reduce the national debt. Provide a Tax Code that incents people to save and invest •Ensure Private Property Rights •Ensure free and fair markets •Ensure the security of our nation
What changes should be made to the tax code?
Quit nibbling around the edges of our tax code. Replace the 70,000 pages of rules and regulation that force most people to seek expensive professional tax help to avoid legal jeopardy with a tax code that; o Broadens the tax base o Makes it easy to comply with o Provides incentives for savings and investment o Make it fair and equal to all Pass the “Fair Tax” coupled with the repeal of the 16th amendment or a “Flat Tax” as an alternative

Congress has failed in its responsibility to address the long-term security of this critical program for those that have paid into it. We are now past the point of fixing Social Security without pain to the economy, future generations or those receiving benefits. I would recommend the following steps to achieve long term stability. •Financially incent near term retirees to delay receiving benefits •Financially incent retirees to continue working •Gradually increase the age of full retirement •Gradually Increase the cap on the taxable salary
