What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I was elected Trustee of the Village of East Dundee in 2011 and have pushed a variety of reforms. First, I worked with the board to freeze the village property tax levy. This freeze has remained in place for the last five years. This work combined with local economic growth, has dramatically dropped village property taxes per home. Second, I’ve promoted greater accountability. I worked to get important records and financial information posted regularly on East Dundee’s village website. Third, East Dundee was the first municipality to pass Governor Bruce Rauner’s Turnaround Agenda. Forth, as a trustee I’ve set a TIF policy prioritizing infrastructure development over corporate welfare and worked locally to enforce e-verify. As a party leader I’ve defeated 3 property tax referendums in the past two years, saving taxpayers over $30 million.

Additional comment from candidate:
For question #12, our Constitution formed a republic, not democracy. Question #21 - GOD has ordained marriage, not gov't. Churches should decide, not politicians or bureaucrats.
