What is your position on the minimum wage?
The minimum wage prevents the free market from working at its best. It would be better to eliminate it. Liberal states like California have proven that the minimum wage doesn't work.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
- End DEI-based spending at the Railroad Commission. By focusing on merit, we will immediately eliminate waste. - Enforce a competitive bidding policy at the RRC. Currently, most contracts given by the RRC are non-competitive. By fixing this, I will eliminate waste and create greater efficiency. - Create a modern, streamlined permitting process. This will eliminate the need to spend vast resources and manpower evaluating permit applications. It will return more value to customers.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The State should not tell the Church what to do. When the government violates this, it ends poorly. Look at the Soviet Union and Communist China. It is important to defend this principle because Democrats like Obama and Biden have tried to use the government to control churches to destroy religious liberty and bring communist tyranny to America.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

In America, we believe in the right to free exercise of religion and freedom of expression. When the government forgets these principles, people suffer. We've already seen this in Colorado and other blue states. I will defend the right of every Texan to adhere to their moral and religious beliefs.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C. It would be wrong to pull the rug out from our elderly citizens who have paid into the system and rely on it. So these programs should stay. But the free market provides the best opportunity for everyone, so we should never have government-run healthcare. Just look at Canada to see how that ends.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

I oppose this. Democrats always want to create databases of citizens as a slippery slope toward tyranny. We oppose this when it comes to firearms, and we should oppose it here too. We can't give an inch to government tyranny.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

I totally agree. This is why I fought publicly against the Chinese billionaire who was buying oil assets in my home county, until his business when bankrupt and he ran back to China. I have a proven record of standing against the CCP, which is a serious threat to America, and I will bring this mindset to the RRC. I am the only candidate who has proposed strengthening permitting rules to weed out CCP-connected companies.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. It is important because Israel is where the roots of Christianity and the West come from. They are also a strategic ally in a region of radical Islamists who hate us. I am the only candidate in the race who has proposed detailed plans for a stronger partnership between the Railroad Commission and the Israeli energy industry.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

It is a crime to be in America illegally, and it harms Americans when illegals are here. I have been endorsed by Texans for Strong Borders because I am the only candidate who is 100% committed to deporting every illegal immigrant. I also believe that sanctuary cities should be punished for violating the law and obstructing justice.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

I fully support this plan by President Trump. The Department of Education has done nothing but raise the costs of college, putting more young people in debt, and worsen education, making it harder for young people to be successful. It should be shut down. I believe that the 10th Amendment gives the power of education to the states, not the federal government.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

100%. We should prevent foreign influence in general. But when foreign governments that hate us are funding the education of our youth, they're really training our youth to hate their own country and to serve the interests of foreign governments. This is evil and should be prohibited, full stop.

Parents know their kids best and it is their responsibility to care for their children. Only parents can provide the best care for their kids. Putting decision-making for children in the hands of the government is just another step toward tyranny.
