OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Strongly Disagree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters(people-citizens), Congress & Supreme Court (co-equal branches of government). Note: our government derives its powers to govern from consent of the people; people created by Almighty God.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe the Almighty by His sovereign hand ALONE determines when a life is created and also when a life shall end. Our efforts as followers of Christ are to care for and protect all life, period. When the life of the mother is in jeopardy or in the case of forced sexual unions like rape or incest whereby a woman is violated I believe the resulting pregnancy decisions rest between her, her physician and her God. In the end no matter what secular law may say we will all give an answer individually to the Almighty for the choices we make in this life. http://www.kevinwhiteforcongress.com/current-events/kevin-f-white-candidate-for-congress-ohio-district-8-on-the-right-to-life/

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Mankind is selfish by nature. The temptations that come with great positions of power and authority require constant checks and balances in order to maintain fidelity, accountability and operational effectiveness by government to the governed--hence the term "Public Servant". Government shall be "Of the People, By the People & For the People". The Framers knew the separation and division of powers provisions prescribed in our Constitution were essential to this end.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

On Oct. 20th 1974 I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart & life thereby becoming a Christian by grace adopted into the family of God through the shed blood of Christ on Calvary's tree. While I am far from perfect, I am committed to serving out my years on this earth with purpose, direction and obedience to His calling upon my life. I stand for: — Limited government; cut federal spending/regulations/taxes — Support the rights of all persons to pursue: life, liberty and happiness INCLUDING THE UNBORN and most vulnerable members of our society — Support a strong foreign policy that trumpets “PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH” with American leadership at the helm — Support the rights of all Americans to pursue the American dream unfettered by bias or discrimination; that the sum of their efforts be judged by merited performance in the free enterprise system –Support/defend second amendment rights to bear arms

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I have not held office before so my record is measured by my time as a citizen, voter and veteran. I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic; I have fulfilled that oath as a veteran of two branches of military service performing six combat tours of duty in the ongoing Global War on Terrorism among other campaigns. I am a family man that supports my local church. I and my wife own a small business, we farm, we both have our CCW permits, I am a NRA Life Member, I have voted regularly and authored numerous opinions championing American Exceptionalism and the preservation of our civil liberties. I now join this Congressional race to stop the erosion of America and return our nation back to her founding principles so we can preserve our heritage for future generations of Americans.

Additional comment from candidate:

I am the ONLY COMBAT VETERAN in this race; as a principled conservative I am the best candidate to represent the people of southwest Ohio (OH-D8) in Washington. If elected I should like to refer to myself as a “citizen-politician” who serves the people, stands upon bedrock core principles and champions government "Of the people, By the people and For the people". This election is not about me; it is about our people living and working in Butler, Darke, Preble, Miami, Mercer and Clark counties. I am a 1987 United States Naval Academy graduate, a novice farmer/small businessman and I am currently employed as a commercial airline pilot with United Airlines. When you vote this year for a member of Congress you should select the strongest leader possible to represent your voice in Washington D.C. I ask you, "Who would you follow into combat?" The choice is clear- VOTE LIFE LIBERTY & FREEDOM...VOTE KEVIN F. WHITE U.S. CONGRESS OH DISTRICT 8
