What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

History has shown that when a single entity, be it a King or large government, has too much power, it will lead to tyranny. Our founders took great pains to outline the limits each government entity has, to separate those powers and give each American equal representation not only in the federal government, but in their home state as well. This was wholly to prevent tyranny, to prevent a single, all-powerful government from making unilateral decisions and denying us liberty.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion is not a preferable option, however since it is largely unavoidable it should be carried out by a healthcare professional. I would side with pro-choice laws.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am agnostic. For several years I have struggled to find my faith. I briefly attended church, prayed regularly, and searched my soul to feel God's presence, however I have come to the conclusion that I am not a believer. I am open to anything, will listen to anyone, and I keep an open mind and an open heart, but I am committed to nothing.
