What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The nature of man is too often to seek power and exert control. While governments are created to protect individual liberties, they have a history of violating these rights. The separation of powers was designed to ensure no branch of government was too powerful, and thereby no individual or group could exert sufficient authority to endanger the public.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
All life is precious and should be protected. Abortion is anathema and should be prohibited. Only when there is a threat to the life of the mother, rape or incest should exceptions be considered.
