What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

There is a sin nature in every person. This manifests itself in most people as a desire to control others. Many seek increased government power to fulfill this desire. These checks and balances were wise; however they need to be strengthened.

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I started Haley2024 The Movement. This is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Haley2024 the Movement is a non-profit organization with a board of directors, dedicated to educating Americans on how the free enterprise system can better accomplish the goals that most government programs attempt to accomplish. A broad structure of new reforms optimizes liberty of individuals through free enterprise, greatly reducing all politician's control over the people. I write extensively on many subjects.

Additional comment from candidate:

My top three issues are: Empowering Parents with School Choice Transitioning from Welfare to Charity Free Enterprise Regulatory Reform Full description at www.Haley2017.com Question 2 about the judges. We do not have experience with elected judges in Virginia. While generally supportive, I do have concerns. I would need further study on this issue and the details and safeguards would be important. Question 10 about Marijuana: the question gave a very limited scope on options. While I am not for total legalization, I do not want prison time for simple use or small possession. There are far better treatment options and monetary/ community service penalties. Medical use should be available.
